This summer, the Shangri-La Paris opens its terraces for the pleasure of its guests and Parisians providing a chance to meet in one of the new iconic palaces of the capital and step in its magnificent interiors. A beauty where refinement of today blends with splendor of History. Designated historical monument, the building was first property of Roland Bonaparte, nephew of Napoleon.
In addition to La 8 Iena terrace which will be opened from June 10th to mid-September, two others terraces have opened their doors this summer 2014 : The Summer Terrace and the Rooftop Lounge.

To reach those two terraces, you will have the pleasure to take the famous historical stairs and then admire the moldings covered with gold leaf, period marbles, bronze sculpture, woodwork and also dressed stone columns.

Shangri La Paris – Belvedere Vodka – Summer Terrace
Next to the ballroom, the Summer Terrace welcomes its guests between 10th July 2014 and 7th September 2014 on the palace first floor in a chic and intimate setting, with the Eiffel Tower as guest of honor. It is in partnership with the Belvedere Vodka that the Shangri-La head bartender offers delicious cocktails specially created for this summer. You can taste unique creations such as the Asian Dry Belvedere or the Summerland that includes Belvedere Citrus, melon, peach cream, basil and apricot juice. You can have salty or sweet appetizers together with them. A la carte, are offered : artichoke confit and basil, eggplant caviar, “Pata Negra” ham and melon, salmon rillettes and lime, macaroons or strawberries with Chantilly cream. Gourmet delights!
You can seat around the elegant black lacquered bar or in one of the chairs in the terrace. The Shangri-La Summer Terrace is opened between 16h00 and 23h30. You can enjoy the show offered by the sparkling Eiffel Tower in the evening.

The Rooftop Lounge
For a very special time in Paris, the Shangri-La has decided to transform the terrace of one of its most exclusive Signature Suites into a temporary bar : the Rooftop Lounge. From July 12th to August 6th 2014, it is on the 7th and last floor of the hotel that this exceptional stage is set. Every day, from 17h00 to 23h30, special guests will enjoy great vintages from the Champagne Krug house together with Petrossian caviar. Sweets moments while facing the outstanding view offered by this terrace : from the Trocadéro to Notre Dame, Grand Palais, Alexandre III bridge, the Panthéon, the Invalides, the Quai Branly and the Seine. The Eiffel Tower view is unique, certainly the most beautiful that we can have from a hotel in Paris. A unique show, day and night. Magic effect is reinforced while the evening is moving.
