The Monte-Carlo Beach is known for its green orientation. In this luxurious 5 star hotel, everything is made to protect the environment from the products used to clean the room to the pool maintenance. The hotel even obtained the Green Globe certification in 2014 thus proving a clear focus with tangible results.
All the catering offering is managed by Paolo Sari, the Monte Carlo Beach Chef. He has recently obtained one star at the Michelin Guide for the Elsa restaurant (the organic restaurant of the Monte Carlo Beach). The cuisine draws inspiration from organic high quality products found locally. The result creates the perfect alliance between France and Italy, the two best cuisines in the world.
The flavor market brunch follows this philosophy, as the rest of the catering offering of the hotel.
While we were staying at the Monte-Carlo Beach, we decided to taste the flavor market brunch.
It is delivered at Le Deck, the restaurant next to the Monte-Carlo Beach Olympic pool. You can enjoy a view over the pool and the palm trees around from your table outside thus reinforcing the holidays feeling. Then the beach and the sea aren’t far either.
The market buffet is being in stage in the historic 1929 skating rink, now covered with wood floors, under the period Art Deco moldings. It is presented as an impressive and generous buffet that offers a lot of options to meet all the requirements. You may start your meal with fresh vegetables, sea foods and tomatoes with mozzarella… Tried those, they are prepared in front of you. The mozzarella was really good, as the tomatoes were.
It is an all you can eat formula but unfortunately, you won’t be able to eat everything as the offering is so wide. After the starters, you can switch to the main course. Again a lot of possibilities with fresh fishes cooked in front of you, pastas and meats. It was a beef rib. I took some beef rib and some fishes, both were really tasty.
For the desserts, there is again a large buffet with a lot of different cakes and pies. Not sure if you will still have some room for those but I strongly recommend to plan your meal accordingly so that you keep enough space for them if you like desserts as they are really sweet.
Nice presentation for the ice cream set in a large ice bucket to keep it fresh. Tried it, it was a vanilla flavor with extracts from Tahiti, really good!
We really enjoyed seeing all those buffets with fresh products. Then being able to see how the products are prepared isn’t something you see really often. It requires really professional staff and a good preparation. So overall, this Sunday flavor market brunch at the Monte Carlo Beach is a real success. It was completely full so you’d better book a table if you want to try it.
The Flavor Market brunch is renowned beyond Monaco region for the quality and the diversity of products it offers. Really worth it!
