Park Hyatt Vendome Paris menu
During a summer afternoon, we went to the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme Hotel to appreciate the tea-time. This is one of the tea times we have selected as one of the best tea times in Paris.
The Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme belongs to the exclusive circle of Parisian palaces. The hotel enjoys a dream location at the 5th Rue de la Paix close to the prestigious Place Vendôme, worldwide symbol of the most beautiful jewelers.
Behind its impressive classed facade, which used to house a high place of the French Haute Couture, the iconic property unveils an audacious and refined decoration. In this dressed stones warm and luxuriously contemporary setting some art work are regularly exhibited.
The tea is suggested at the La Cheminée Bar, and may be served around the chimney or outside in the courtyard of the hotel.
As the weather allowed it, we let ourselves guided to the Terrace. It appears like a real haven of peace. Very pretty, it is displayed with a hedge, pruned conifers and shrubs. It can be used summer to winter thanks to discreet heating lining the tables.

The Chimney Bar at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme
Our choice fell on two formulas : The Selection of Sandwiches with Organic Bread to start and The Cheminée Selection of Pastries to end.
The two selections are particularly delightful. The plate of salty toasters is composed of appetizers topped with foie gras, Pata Negra, smoked salmon, mature Comté and vegetables. Those fine slices of bread enhance the different flavors.
The Selection of Pastries, le Goûter de La Cheminée, is a delicate assortment of sweetness : Chocolate and Orange Cake, Red fruits and Vanilla Tart, Nuts Finger with Indian Spices, Yoghurt and Mango Foam, Lemon Tea Cake and Chantilly cream. To complete the feast, some delicious Madeleine cakes accompanied the drinks.
About the drinks, La Cheminée at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme offers a whole range of detoxifying refreshments. Those drinks demonstrate audacious fruits and/or vegetables cocktails : as good as surprising!
