A stay at the Wynn in Las Vegas is lived like a dream. The whole Wynn resort and casinos has its singular design signature, made of flowers.
Arrival at the hotel
The Wynn is located on one end of the Las Vegas Strip, after the Palazzo and the Venetian. It distinguishes itself with its singular mirror facade. There are two entrances : the main entrance for guests staying in regular rooms and the Tower Suites for guests staying in higher room categories and suites.
As we were staying in a Parlor Suite, we got through the Tower Suites entrance. We were really pleased with it. The enchantment begins once you cross the first hall and its small pools with Chinese fishes and luxuriant vegetation. Then you arrive in the Wynn Tower Suites lobby. It is pretty large and way less crowded than the regular Wynn lobby. Basically, you won’t have to go through any endless line here. There was more staff than guests at that time. Eyes are caught by the refinement of the hotel and you really feel that you will have a very special stay here.
The Parlor Suite
To get to your room in the Tower Suites part of the Wynn, you can use the Tower Suites elevators next to the lobby and the Tableau. There is always someone checking that you are really a Tower Suites guest while you get to the elevators.
The Wynn Tower Suites corridors are smaller than the regular room corridors. There are probably around 20 rooms and suites on the Tower Suites end so you are never really far from the elevator, this is another advantage of staying in the Wynn Tower Suites.
Our room was located on the 30th floor. It was a Parlor suite with a view over the golf. This is the intermediate suite, just below the Salon suite which is the largest at the Wynn. When you enter the suite, you are amazed by the volume of the different areas. The living room has a desk and then next to it a large sofa with a table and two chairs. The ceiling is made of mirrors, which is a bit uncommon but really nice in the end. In addition of the regular rooms, the suite features an opened kitchen area in the hall and a powder room for guests.
Windows cover a whole side from floor to ceiling. At the beginning, I was a bit worried to not have a Strip view from the room but the golf view is definitely a good alternative. It is quiet and peaceful and offer breath breaking view over the valley and thousand lights shining like diamonds during the night. Just outstanding! I heard that sometimes, you could get disturbed on the Strip side by the night clubs. I can tell you that this isn’t the case on the golf side, it is really 100% quiet. You can’t even hear the planes that you can see flying over Las Vegas from this side.
The bedroom is large as well with a really comfortable bed where we had a restful sleep. You can also see the golf from the bed.

The largest room in the Parlor suite is probably the bathroom. Had never seen before one that large! There is a sink on each side of the bathroom so that everybody has its own space. Then there is a separated dressing. The bathroom also has a jacuzzi bathtub and a shower. You can see the view from the bathtub, nice again!
Guests enjoy generous amenities. You can stay here without your toiletry case if you wish. Everything is here : razor, tooth brush, hair spray, mouth cleanser and all the classics…

Catering
At the Wynn, the number of options available for food and drinks is so large that it would take probably 2 weeks to test all those. Anyway, we have tried several and we were usually quite happy with those.
For the breakfast, we have tried the Tableau and the Buffet. Breakfast at the Tableau is included complimentary for Tower Suites guests. It is an à la carte breakfast. You can select a drink and then a side meal. If you want more, then it is possible but not included in the base package. The Tableau decoration is nice.

The breakfast at the Buffet is as its name suggests it a breakfast buffet. A lot of salty and sweet options are available. You can have almost everything you could imagine from waffles to salmon and pizzas. The Tower Suites guests will enjoy the line pass at the Buffet, really convenient to avoid a 30 minutes queue in the morning.

- Marie Antoinette cake

The Red 8 restaurant is next to the Wynn casino. While feeling so cozy in a refined setting, you can see the slots from the restaurant. It offers regular Asian food in a beautiful red setting. We have tried the assorted barbecue platter. It was quite good and healthy. We really liked all the vegetables coming with it.

When we had made our decision to get to the Wynn, the Wing Lei was certainly one of the reasons for selecting the Wynn. We wanted to try a Michelin starred Chinese restaurant. We haven’t been disappointed. Once you cross the doors of the Wing Lei, you realize that this place is a really special place, so refined. The service blends professionalism with Asian legendary discretion. The decoration is wonderful.
The menu offers a selection of Asian classics. We shared one sweet & sour pork and one lemon chicken. The meal presentation was as nice as the taste! It was so good. We could find here the real taste that you will usually only find in China. We were really happy with our dinner at Wing Lei. It is definitely on our top list of restaurants to try while in Las Vegas.

Activities
The Wynn is not a regular hotel, it is a full resort where you can do almost everything you could imagine without leaving the hotel. First, the Wynn and Encore casinos, probably the nicest in Las Vegas. We have been through almost all the casinos on the Strip and the Wynn and Encore casinos are the best in terms of decoration, staff, slot and table game diversity. The Wynn casino is large enough that it is never too crowded, even on a Saturday night.
Although we haven’t tried those, several night clubs are available at Wynn and Encore for those looking for that. An 18 holes golf course is also available but we could hardly see any player because of the hot temperature in June there.
Several swimming pools are available. The Wynn Tower Suites has its own pool located next to the Tower Suites lobby. It is made of two pools with cabanas and sun decks around. We didn’t have any problem to find free sun decks on a Sunday morning. The water temperature is hot as the pool is directly heated by the sun most of the day without any shadow on it. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. Obviously, the Tower Suites guests also have access to the Wynn regular swimming pools which are below the Tower Suites pools. They are larger but also more crowded, because they are way more guests at the Wynn versus Wynn Tower Suites.

If you like shopping, a lot of luxury brand stores are available at the Wynn and Encore, such as Christian Dior, Chanel, Cartier, whole Rolex collection, Ferrari, Givenchy, Chloe or Louis Vuitton. This is perfect to make shopping without leaving the property.
There is even a shop where you can buy Wynn branded luxury products, and bring a part of the enchantment home. It is such a pleasure walking through the corridors of the Wynn and admiring the fresh flowers arrangements throughout the Wynn resort.

Last but not least, the shows! We have been at Le Rêve, The Dream, at the Wynn theater. It was really amazing. Had never seen anything like that! It is often quoted as one of the best shows in Vegas and we would certainly back this statement. During 1h30, your eyes will be amazed by what they will see. A true water show! A show named “The Dream” can only be played here, in the amazing decoration of the Wynn!
Conclusion
If you stay in Las Vegas for few days, you’ll probably want to stay in a hotel with a casino. In that case, the Wynn is one of the best options, if not the best. If you’d like to have top notch accommodation, then the Wynn Tower Suites is the place to stay. You’ll enjoy all the advantages of the Wynn like the beautiful casino, the numerous restaurants, the luxury stores, the pools and the theater while not having the disadvantages like the endless line at check-in and the same endless line at the buffet or also the regular pool where sometime it could be hard to find a sun deck.
Are the Tower Suites worth the extra money? In my opinion, yes. Because the rooms are larger but also because when you get to a resort like the Wynn, you don’t want to face the same issues as the one you would face in lower category hotels. So if you really want it to be special, go to the Tower Suites and enjoy!
