Arrival at the hotel
The Four Seasons Las Vegas appears as an oasis in the Nevada Desert. Its rooms occupy the 5 top floors of the Mandalay Bay building. It has a separate entrance. When you arrive, the road is surrounded with palm trees. You feel like being in the Caribbean. When your car stop by the fountain, the valet comes to smoothly pick up your luggage.
The lobby desk is on the right hand. The room keys are quickly delivered and fresh water is offered together with them. After that, we took the wood and marble corridor leading to the elevators and we reached the 36th floor where our Presidential suite was.

The Presidential Suite
The Four Seasons Presidential Suite is the largest one in the hotel, with more than 200 sqm (2,152 sqft). It also has the best view you could have from the Mandalay Bay building and probably one of the best in Las Vegas. This suite is set on the side of the building, in one corner so all the rooms have floor to ceiling windows.
From the dining room, you can see the McCarran airport and the mountains. From the living room and the bedroom, you can see the Strip and another part of the mountains. The Strip view is unobstructed, you can see the entire Strip from there, really nice!
So let’s describe the Four Seasons Presidential Suite! First, when you enter the suite, you have on your left a powder room with a sink and toilets. Then, in front of you, there is the living room with a first sitting area. On the right, you have the dining room that you can reach through nice alcoves. Behind it is the kitchen. Then on the left, you have the living room, the desk. Next a small corridor with the dressing on the right and the bathroom on the left. And finally, last but not least, the bedroom is at the end of this huge Presidential suite.
The decoration of the Four Seasons Presidential suite is really refined and luxurious. Every tone, furniture will remind you that you are in a very exclusive place. What I liked most was probably the dining table area. Was really nice to have a dinner there. You could easily guess how many VIP and celebrities had some good time here.
Then the bed is nice as well, with its direct Strip view. It is really nice to lie on the bed and observe the panorama. Last, the living room sofa is really comfortable and the tables around it made of golden metal are giving a nice touch of luxury. The overall decoration follows the Art Deco theme with some modern touches.
The bathroom has more products and amenities than you would need which is good. The dressing area, facing the bathroom, is large enough for two suitcases. It has plenty of space to unpack clothes. It is a good idea to have set the dressing on the other side of the corridor, facing the bathroom. Then, on the other side of the Presidential suite, next to the dining room, the kitchen is well furnished with a large fridge.

Last but not least, the bedroom offers a sumptuous decoration. With its blue green moire walls, it has the illusion of being a large jewel box. From the bed, you can see the perspective of the whole Strip Boulevard. It is just magic! Don’t miss the beautiful sunset on it.

As for many hotels of this level in Las Vegas, the Four Seasons Las Vegas provides twice daily service of the suite. So you are sure that your room will always be clean. We were really pleased with the quality of service there. It really set the bar high. To give an idea of the level of details, if we left some clothes unfolded somewhere, they were folded next time we would come back to the suite. Then, we left a pair of sunglasses on the desk. The service lady put a glass cleaning tissue branded “Four Seasons” below it to protect it.
Catering
You have two options for dining at the Four Seasons Las Vegas (in addition to the multiple ones available at the Mandalay Bay).
The first one is the Verandah. It is a chic Italian restaurant where you can have salads, pizzas and pastas. We had a fantastic tiramisu for dessert. It is a must have.
The Verandah serves breakfasts, lunches and dinners. You may have the possibility to choose your table near the pool on the beautiful exotic terrace.

The second one is the Charlie Palmer Steakhouse. We had really good time there. The meat was so good, really tasty and well cooked. It was one of the best restaurants we had in Las Vegas. Also liked the assortment of ice creams for the dessert, nice presentation! The setup of the restaurant is very nice with its felted and chic atmosphere.
At both places, the service was excellent, fast, friendly and professional. They gave good recommendations.
From my prospective, those two restaurants at the Four Seasons Las Vegas are way above the others Las Vegas restaurants in terms of food refinement. You’ll never be disappointed there. You can find others good restaurants in Las Vegas but quality is usually more random. Here at the Four Seasons Las Vegas, both are really above the bar.
Activities
The direct connection with the Mandalay Bay through the 1st floor allows extending a lot the possibilities. The Mandalay Bay casino offers a lot of different options. Then there are also a lot of shops around the casino area. You can also reach the Luxor and the Excalibur through the corridors or the tram. The Mandalay Bay is the host of the famous shark reef where people can walk through a glass corridor surrounded by sharks.
Also several swimming pools are available at the Mandalay Bay such as a lazy river or a wave pool. But we preferred the Four Seasons swimming pool for its quiet atmosphere and its exceptional service.
The Four Seasons Las Vegas swimming pool is like a peaceful oasis. It is never really crowded. We always had the option to select the area we wanted to seat. There are some relaxing benches or some deckchairs. The staff will set them up with towels for you and then bring you fresh water from the bar. Regularly, they will come to check if you need anything. You can order some food or something to drink thus giving the opportunity to spend the whole day there without leaving the pool area. The pool in itself is large enough to accommodate all the guests. The water temperature was always ok, refreshing but not cold.
There are also a fitness center and a spa next to the elevators but we haven’t been there.
Conclusion
The Four Seasons is a relatively small hotel for Las Vegas if you think about all the hotels with more than 5.000 rooms that can be found around the Strip. So it really allows enjoying a peaceful and exclusive atmosphere. Still, if you are looking for more, the Mandalay Bay is easily reachable directly through the 1st floor. So on that front, it is really a good compromise.
Then staying in a Presidential suite is always the top end experience. What we liked the most in this one is the view and the suite layout. The Presidential suite layout was really set with a lot of good sense and logic. The bedroom is on one end, with the fabulous Strip view. Then the dining room and living room are next to the entrance. Then wherever you are in this Presidential suite, you’ll enjoy the view, outstanding!
