It is quite easy to reach Turkey from all European capitals. Direct flights are offered to Istanbul on a daily basis. Then you can also find charter or regular flights to Antalya and Bodrum, two beach destinations in the Southern part of Turkey.
It is also possible to find direct flights from major US cities and some Asian countries to Istanbul.
Best time to visit Turkey
May-June and September-October are the best periods to travel to Turkey when the weather is not too hot, before and after the peak tourism season. Summer (July-August) can be very hot with temperatures above 35°C. Winter is cold and rainy.
