Arrival at the hotel
Have you planned to stay in the French capital in a both well-located, comfortable and friendly hotel? We would gladly recommend you the Etoile Saint Honoré hotel in Paris. It stands in the eponymous street, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and its luxury shops, such as Hermes, Chanel, Cartier or Lanvin and is only five minutes walking distance from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées Avenue.
The hotel is perfectly located for those wishing to practice shopping in the capital of fashion or to visit its treasures : the Eiffel Tower, the Place de la Concorde, the Garnier Opera, Montmartre and its Basilica, the Notre Dame Cathedral or the Louvre museum will be easily reachable. The Etoile Saint Honoré is close to the Haussmann boulevard area and its must-seen department stores : Galeries Lafayettes and the Printemps Haussmann.
But the location isn’t its only asset. Here, you will be welcomed in an intimate and elegant atmosphere. You will swiftly feel like home!

The suite
The Prestige Suite offers a nice feeling : it seems to be arranged like a private Parisian pied-a-terre. Everything is made to bring comfort to the guests. When you enter the place, you discover a nice area made of a red velvet cushioned seat with table overlooking the first terrace.
The bedding area is pretty spacious with a comfortable 2 meters wide bed in front of the second terrace. The TV screen with pivoting arm is perfect to watch TV while lining on the bed without obstructing the outside perspective. There is also an MP3 sound system next to the TV set.
A complimentary WiFi access is available throughout the hotel. It is easy to access and fast to use.

A both modern and original care was brought to the decoration. Warm colors, wood and leather textures enhance the cozy atmosphere of the room. As you can see on the pictures, the lights are also pretty nice.

The bathroom is ingeniously separated from the room thanks to large sliding doors. As the rest of the suite, the bathroom offers a large surface. It is really nice to benefit from the daylight, a rare case to be notified for a Paris hotel.
Here you are welcomed for a bath by a large bathtub that can welcome two persons. This bathtub might be the larger one I’ve ever seen in a French hotel, really huge! Amenities from Pure Herbs product are generously displayed near the bathtub and in the shower. You will find everything you need for a pampering moment from the classics to the unusual : shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, body peeling, bath salts, bath tea and even massage oil. Yes, you read it well, body peeling and massage oil! Not really common amenities you can find in a hotel bathroom.
In addition of the sink, separated toilets and the shower, a large cupboard hosts a dressing, the mini bar and a coffee Nespresso machine. In the mini bar, you will find free beverages such as fruits juices, waters and sodas. Different kind of Nespresso coffees and teas. Nice intention!

The Suite broads 2 private terraces with table and chairs. They offer a fantastic view over the roofs of Paris. From here, eyes are caught by Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur Basilica. It is a rare opportunity to admire the night falling over Paris while its thousand lights start sparkling. During the beautiful days, it should be so romantic to order a room-service on this Parisian terrace. Lovely!

To make you feel like home, the Etoile Saint Honoré hotel invites you to a tea time. It is served in the cozy lounge each afternoon from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Here you will appreciate a selection of salty finger sandwiches, cakes, fine pastries, fruits, hot beverages and refreshments. Nothing is missing : magazines are complimentary available to prefect this relaxing moment.

Another great time at the hotel : the breakfast. It is presented as a large buffet with several options. You will enjoy French classics such as iconic baguette bread and croissants, raisins and chocolates rolls. And you’ll also find with pleasure : smoked salmon, a selection of hams and cheeses, cereals, eggs, fruits salads, dairy products and hot meals such as omelet, sausages and fried potatoes. You will also find typical hot drinks and several fruits juices.

Conclusion
The Hotel Etoile Saint Honoré was a good surprise for us. The decoration and amenities goes beyond what you can find in a regular 4 star hotel. Still the price is in line with the hotel rates in the area which is a top location within Paris.
The staff was pretty friendly and always inquired to find out how they could assist while we were going through the hotel.
So this hotel is a good choice if you are traveling to Paris and you want to stay in a nice hotel without spending too much money.
