After 3 years and an investment of 32 M€ (just for the renovation work), the Hotel am Steinplatz Berlin reopened at the beginning of 2014. The key goal of this extensive renovation was to restore this historic hotel with its stunning architecture and give new shine to a jewel of Berlin’s Art Nouveau heritage.

Over 5 levels, all the 87 rooms and suites have an individual shape, with high ceilings representing the charm of this historical building. They offer a view on the leafy courtyard or Steinplatz. All the features found in modern hotels are available here from WIFI to iPod docking station. Special care has been put into the bathroom to enhance the guests comfort : heated floor, rain shower, bath robes, slippers and amenities from Etro.

The Hotel am Steinplatz Berlin offers regular services such as in room dining, express check-out, currency exchange and laundry service. At the Restaurant am Steinplatz, Michelin-starred chef, Stefan Hartmann, uses the finest regional products to prepare classic Berlin dishes. This is also reflected at the Bar am Steinplatz, where you can taste classic cocktails and also own unique recipes with spirits produced in Berlin.

The Hotel clearly targets individual travelers seeking an independent and exciting hotel experience. This property is a private stage, an intimate haven to enjoy and relax.

At the arrival, guests will be given an illustrated Kiez card (created in collaboration with Waald & Niche Tours) and encouraged to discover the “real” Berlin, away from major attractions.
