Since 1913, Le Negresco Hotel stands proudly on the famous Promenade des Anglais in Nice, near the Palais Massena.
It is an iconic place where international customers such as Queens and Kings of yesterday and today’s world used to stay. On the occasion of its inauguration, more than 7 crowned heads participated to the celebration.
The hotel’s name was given by its creator Henri Negrescu. Today, the neo-classic facades, the “Salon Royal” and its glass roof are included on the list of historical monuments.
The decor of the Negresco is unique. Here, we can meet 500 years of history thanks to ancient and period furniture, from Louis XIII to modern art. A 6000 works collection is represented in the hotel.
The Negresco Nice is also renowned for its various times inspired suites. Living in the Imperial Suite, the Pompadour Suite, the Napoleon Suite or the Mistinguette Suite is a pure delight. A real invitation to travel through time with today’s comfort and modernity.
Without any doubt, the Royal Suite is the quintessence of the Negresco. Nestled under the famous building’s dome, it offers a double exposition both overlooking the Nice bay of Angels and the Massena Park.
In a set of luxurious 1751’s woodwork, Le Chanteclair 2 stars at the Michelin Guide restaurant, offers a traditional French cuisine. The Chanteclair on the Promenade des Anglais, is also well-known of its 15.000 bottles cave.
The decor of the Rotonde Brasserie is differently surprising. It comprises a masterful XVIIIth century’s carousel and its wood horses.
The Relais, bar in the Negresco, offers an intimate atmosphere with its walnut wood panelings and 1683’s tapestry. When the evening had come, Jazz and Latin music invite to relax with.
